Alumnus named a 2017 ‘Most Admired CEO’

Alex Gregory, ’78, ’79, and member of the Georgia College Board of Trustees was recently named a “2017 Most Admired CEO” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
 
He currently serves as chair, CEO and president of YKK Corporation of America. Through his work, he oversees several of YKK’s companies located in North and Central America, the West Indies and Colombia.
 
Gregory is also a longtime supporter and mentor to students at Georgia College participating in the university’s Georgia Education Mentorship Program (GEM).
 
He received both his Master of Business Administration and Master of Science Administration from Georgia College.
 
Atlanta Business Chronicle named their list of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEOs of 2017 in July. The honorees received their awards Aug. 24 at a sold-out event at The Foundry at Puritan Mill.
