The Georgia College student radio station WGUR 95.3 “The Noise” is looking for new members for the Spring 2020 Executive Team. Applications are now being taken for Program Director, Production Manager, and Sponsorship Coordinator.
The Program Director manages all on-air talent, reaching out to students who may be interested in having a radio show. The program director also trains DJs, creates the show schedule, and is there throughout the year to assist with anything related to the station.
“A Program Director should be a team player, willing to help DJs with any questions, and should have an open, friendly and encouraging personality,” said current Program Director Natalie Sadler.
In charge of sales management and marketing is the Sponsorship Coordinator, also known as the Ad Sales Director, who works within the community to develop professional relationships with businesses and important leaders in the community.
The Production Manager works to create on-air ads and radio sweepers for the station through Adobe Audition.
Online applications for the three positions are due next Friday, November 15.
