CTL Workshops for the week of November 12

CTL will offer the following workshops next week:

Monday, November 12, 12:00 to 12:45, Library 376: "Utilizing Video in Your Classes." To ensure that our course materials are accessible for all learners, we need to create and use videos that include close captioning. In this workshop, you will learn how to create your own close-captioned instructional videos using the Kaltura software. We encourage you to have access to one of your instructional videos so that you can begin using the Kaltura video-editing tools. This workshop will be offered again on Tuesday, November 27. Please register here.

Wednesday, November 14, 11:15 to 12:15, Library 376: "Integrating Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavors with Study Abroad." In this workshop, Drs. Karen Berman, Tsu-Ming Chiang, and Doreen Sams will discuss how they have successfully combined undergraduate research with study abroad courses to create high-impact, transformative learning experiences for their students. Please register here.
