Georgia College Flag Football Team finishes season second in the country

The Georgia College flag football team has had a phenomenal season this year that concluded by finishing second in the country going 6 and 1 at the National Flag Football Tournament. Mitch Risley was awarded the award of All-American Flag Football player. He led the tournament in total touchdowns with 32 during the tournament. Micheal LaHood was awarded the award of All-American Flag Football player. He led the tournament in tackles for loss with 16 during the tournament. 

The team won the state tournament going 5 and 0 and beating Georgia Southern in the championship game. Mitch Risley was the tournament MVP and also led the tournament in total touchdowns with 27 during the tournament. Andrew Prestwood was awarded the award of All-State Flag Football player. 

They also won all 13 games they played on campus this year to go on and win both of our campus championships. Congratulations to the team on a job well done.
