CollegeAtlas.org has ranked the Georgia College School of Nursing as the No. 1 nursing program in the state of Georgia. The School of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate programs of study.
The pre-licensure BSN as well as the online RN-BSN programs have full approval by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Graduate programs offered include a Master's of Science in Nursing with concentrations as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Educator, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Post Master's Certifications are also offered for the three concentrations. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program prepares students to lead health care innovations and influence policy founded on analytic principles and evidence-based practice at the highest organizational level. The BSN, MSN and DNP programs are fully accredited accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The current NCLEX-RN pass rate is 96 percent and the Family Nurse Practitioner certification pass rate is 100 percent.
