Georgia College has been a strategic part of the Georgia Undergraduate Research Collective (GURC) since its inception in January 2013. After a rebranding campaign began here at GC, the GURC now consists of 16 USG and private institutions of higher learning in the State of Georgia. It has also expanded to include the Annual Posters at the Capitol with the second annual event to be held in February 2020. Watch for call for applications for undergraduate research presentation coming in the near future.
The GURC Conference will be held November 1-2, 2019 at the University of North Georgia. At this time, only five GC faculty or teaching staff have signed up to review abstracts for the conference. Students' submissions are due by midnight on Sept. 18, 2019, and reviewing will begin shortly after. Please share the call for abstract submissions with your students and please sign up to review a few abstracts. The review process is simple, takes little time, and adds to your service on your IFR.
