'Kissing in the Rain: Romance or Abuse' by the Project BRAVE Peer Facilitators

The Project BRAVE Peer Facilitators would like to invite you to join the discussion about the portrayal of domestic abuse and violence in movies, tv, and music. We will be showing various clips from media like "The Notebook," "Gossip Girl," and Eminem’s "Love The Way You Lie" music video to facilitate a discussion about the abusive characteristics portrayed in the relationships and how society often idealizes and normalizes abusive relationships through pop culture.

The program will be at 7 p.m. in the HUB (Blackbridge Hall), and is in conjunction with Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month.
