Music of Africa and the African Diaspora: GC Piano Studio and musicologist Dr. Dana Gorzelany-Mostak

Sunday, Sept. 29 “Music of Africa and the African Diaspora”—featuring students in Georgia College’s Piano Studio and musicologist Dr. Dana Gorzelany-Mostak—will be at 3 p.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom. Produced by Dr. Owen Lovell, this concert showcases pieces by African or African-descent composers with an array of styles ranging from European romanticism, ragtime and calypso to tribal-style African drumming.
