As a reminder, today is the final day of Open Enrollment; you will be able to login to OneUSG to make your benefit elections for 2020 up until 11:59 PM tonight, November 8, 2019.
This is an active Open Enrollment period, meaning you must login and review your elections, even if you do not intend to make any changes. If you do not login and review your benefit selections:
- You will default to a tobacco user, which will result in an additional $100/month surcharge on your monthly insurance premiums.
- If you cover a spouse on your plan, spouse coverage will default to the working spouse surcharge, which will result in an additional $100/month surcharge on your monthly insurance premiums.
- If you fail to login and review your plan and make your updated elections before 11:59 PM this evening, USG will not be removing any default surcharges—tobacco or working spouse—from your premiums for 2020. Please login so you do not lose $1,200-$2,400 next year just because you forgot to look at something!
The 2020 Comparison Guide is available in digital and hard copy for all benefits-eligible faculty and staff. The digital copy is available at: https://www.usg.edu/assets/hr/benefits_docs/2020_USG_Comparison_Guide.10.2019.pdf
The hard copy is available in the Office of Human Resources. Please note the corrections/updates that are listed on the cover of the hard copy. Copies were distributed during the Benefits Fair (in the bag you received at the front door) and Open Enrollment Information Sessions. If you have not received a copy, guides are available for pick up in the Office of Human Resources (Wooten-Garner House). If you have already received a copy, please do not request duplicate copies—we have a limited supply.
If you need assistance with logging in to OneUSG and making your elections, you may contact the OneUSG Connect Benefits Call Center at 1-844-587-4236.
The Office of Human Resources will also be available for assistance during our final lab sessions today from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-3:00 PM in Library 241. Please stop by and see us if you have any questions or need assistance.
