All faculty, staff, and students are welcome and encouraged to attend today’s open forum/presentation with Dr. Catheryn Weitman, a finalist for the position of sr. associate provost and director of Graduate Studies. Weitman currently is dean at University College at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo, Texas. The forum will be Thursday, April 20 from 2:30-3:20 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room.

Over the course of 15-20 minutes, Weitman will provide information on her background and discuss her interest in our position. She will also talk about three to five trends in higher education, their potential implications for the Sr. Associate Provost and Director of Graduate Studies position, and her thoughts for potential strategies/best practices. The remainder of the period will be open for questions from the audience.
