Reminder: CEPA's Passport of the World Award Scholarship Competition

The Cultural Educational Programs Abroad Foundation (CEPA), in partnership with Georgia College and the Institute for International Education Generation Study Abroad, is sponsoring a “Passport to the World” scholarship competition for GC students and you can win $145 to cover your first time passport application fee! Are you a Georgia College student studying abroad in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2019? Do you need to apply for a passport for the first time? Are you experiencing financial hardship,  receive support from the GC Student Disability Resource Center, are a person of color, a first generation college student, or a member of the LGBTQ+ community? If so, this is the scholarship competition for you!

To enter, create a 30 second video explaining how getting a passport would enable your study abroad dreams to come true! Email this video to gcsustudyabroad@gmail.com with word document of 200 words or less explaining how you meet the eligibility criteria. Submit the video and word document by January 16th. Then the videos will be posted on our Instagram for voting from January 21 - 27. The top ten students who receive the most likes will receive a “Passport to the World” award!
