Three online Georgia College programs named first in state by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report has released its “Best Online Programs Rankings” for 2020—nationally recognizing programs from all four of the university’s colleges. Three online graduate programs ranked first in the state.

The Master of Business Administration (Georgia WebMBA®) at Georgia College jumped from third last year to first in the state. The program—allowing professionals to earn an MBA completely online without interrupting their work and personal lives—ranked 40 in the country. MBA Central also chose the university’s Georgia WebMBA® as their top MBA program in the state. Their methodology was based on affordability, support services and quality of coursework.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Georgia College's online Logistics and Supply Chain Management Master at 17 nationally and first in the state. The program was ranked among other non-MBA Best Online Master Business disciplines, such as accounting, finance and logistics. For that group of master's programs, Georgia College is second in the state.

Georgia College’s online graduate nursing programs placed first statewide for the second year in a row. They ranked 28 in the nation. These programs include Master of Science in Nursing with track options of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), FNP Post Master, Nurse Educator and Professional Enrichment, as well as Doctor of Nursing Practice.

Georgia College’s criminal justice master was one of only four programs in the state to be ranked by U.S. News & World Report. The university’s online graduate education programs ranked third in Georgia.

“In recent years, Georgia College has experienced tremendous growth in our online graduate programs. I am delighted to see the success of these programs recognized nationally as we continue to enhance our programs,” said Georgia College President Dr. Steve Dorman.
