We would like to remind you that in preparation for the upcoming OneUSG Connect PeopleSoft data conversion for Cohort 4 USG institutions, Georgia College will be impacted by two blackout periods; the first has now ended. During the remaining blackout period, we cannot enter any data (e.g. new hires, terminations, transfers, salary changes, etc.). The final Blackout will be:
- Friday, Dec. 21 – Wednesday, Dec. 26
In order to ensure timely processing of employment actions prior to the remaining blackout period, we have made revisions to the staff (bi-weekly) and student matrixes. All documents related to hiring and processing other employment transactions must be received by the Office of Human Resources in accordance with the dates listed on the corresponding hiring matrix. The remaining blackout period does not impact the monthly hiring matrix. For your convenience, we have attached a copy of the staff (bi-weekly), staff (monthly) and student matrices.
Bi-weekly time must be entered and approved by the following dates during November and December:
- Friday, Dec. 14 for payment Dec. 21
- Any time for Dec. 2 through Dec. 15 must be entered
- Wednesday, Dec. 19 for payment Jan. 4
- Any time for the Dec. 16 through Dec. 29 must be entered
Bi-weekly Payroll will process on Dec. 16 and 19, and Dec. 29 and 30.
Monthly time must be entered and approved by the following dates during November and December:
- Dec. 18 for payment on Dec. 31
Monthly Payroll will process on Dec. 19 and 20.
