Women and Civil Rights Movement

As part of the Changing America exhibit, Jennifer Graham, director of the Women's Center will give the presentation "Women and Civil Rights Movement" Wednesday, Aug. 16 from 3 - 5 p.m. at the Sallie Ellis Davis House. This talk will highlight several women who played roles in advancing either their own civil rights or fought for the civil rights of others. Women civil rights leaders from the 1800s through 2017 will be highlighted. Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
