What are your plans after graduation? In the fall, I will be attending the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock to obtain a Juris Doctor.
What was your favorite class and why? My favorite course was Legal Research and Writing with Professor Jennifer Hammack because this course provided insight into the research process that attorneys use for their cases. Through this course, I verified my passion for legal affairs and advocating for others.
Who was your favorite professor and why? Dr. Kortni Alston is my favorite professor because she always has such a positive attitude and strives to offer professional and networking opportunities for her students.
How did your college experience help you grow or change your perspective? From day one of being a student at Georgia College, I was eager to learn more about servant leadership. Anyone can be a leader, but to be a servant leader, service must be the focal point of your actions. My experiences with the GIVE Center and Student Government Association taught me the meaning of servant leadership as I completed service projects and advocated for various groups of people. Understanding the definition of true servant leadership developed my leadership skills and enhanced my ability to serve individuals, groups, and organizations.
"The past four years at Georgia College were remarkable. I have no doubt in my mind that Georgia College was the right choice for me. From the professors to the lifetime friendships, I am proud to be a part of the Bobcat family."
