American Landscapes: Stephen Fischer, saxophone

Monday, February 4 American composers will be highlighted in “American Landscapes” featuring saxophonist Stephen Fischer at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. The concert will include the world premiere of “Too Much Time in My Head” by faculty member Douglas Bassett. Jennifer Higdon’s “Sonata” and Frederick Fox’s “Hear Again in Memory” will also be played, along with Leon Stein’s “Trio Concertante” featuring saxophone, violin and piano. Other performers include Georgia College pianist Kaju Lee and guest violinist Rachael Fischer. A $5 donation is encouraged.
