Basic computer training

Course description: This basic computer training class makes it easy for beginners to learn to use computers productively. In this hands-on class, students are introduced to basic computer tasks, including working with Windows, using the start menu, creating shortcuts to frequently used programs, file organization, moving and copying files, the recycle bin, the basics of email and how to keep your computer and passwords secure. Employees in need of basic computer skills training are encouraged to attend.  Registration is required as seating is limited to 20 individuals. Employees will need to have their GC user name and password to allow them to access the system during the class.

The class will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Russell Library - Room 119.  Please use the following link to register for the class:
