Campus Green Initiative Fund Symposium

The 4th Annual Campus Green Initiative Fund Symposium will be held in the Arts and Sciences Auditorium from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Please join us in welcoming noted nature author Gary Ferguson to Georgia College to present a keynote address titled "Earth Time: Conservation from the Radical Center." Mr. Ferguson has written over 20 books on wide-ranging topics related to the natural world, emphasizing human connections with our planet. In celebration of Earth Day, the CGIF Symposium invites Gary to explore our nation's conservation history from a new perspective.

Following the keynote address, a panel of local and national experts will respond to comments and questions related to the talk and the conservation movment in general. The panel will consist of Dr. Mary Clare (psychologist), Mr. Clint McNeal (Georgia Conservancy) and Ernie Pollitzer (Environmental Engineer).
