This week, campus will be getting an injection of life in the form of 200 new trees. The Environmental Science Club, Student Government Association, Campus Green Initiative and Gardening Club will be teaming up to plant trees all over Main and West Campus from Wednesday Feb. 11 through Friday Feb. 13. To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the university, there will be more than 200 new trees planted, which range across four different species. In addition to the trees, pomegranate and blueberry bushes will be planted when the weather warms up.

The organizations are seeking help with the work, and will have representatives present to help the unseasoned. Equipment will be provided on site. All students and faculty are invited to come make a long-term impression on the GC campus.

The groups will be working Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 4 - 5:30 p.m. on Front Campus, Thursday, Feb. 12 for 4 - 5:30 p.m. on Front and West Campus and Friday, Feb. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. on West Campus.
