An A Cappella Christmas: Max Noah Singers

Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 11-12 Georgia College’s Max Noah Singers presents “An A Cappella Christmas” at 2 p.m. Dec. 11 at Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion and 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at First Presbyterian Church. The concert features sets of familiar carols, such as “Carol of the Bells,” along with African-related works and Latin motets like “Ave Maria.” Audiences will also enjoy arrangements of popular holiday songs like “White Christmas” and the closing traditional set, which includes “Silent Night.” The group will be conducted by Dr. Jennifer Flory, professor of music and director of choral activities, and senior music education major John Mitchell. A $5 donation is encouraged. All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GC Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc.
