The Georgia College Department of Theatre and Dance will host its 24th annual Community Dance Program Spring Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in Russell Auditorium. This year’s theme is “Decades of Dance,” featuring music and choreography from the 1800s to today. Organized by Georgia College’s Director of Dance, Amelia Pelton, the community program has 150 dancers from the university’s noncredit community dance program, ages 3 to adult. There will be ballet, tap, musical theatre, jazz, hip hop and a special ballroom dance for fathers and daughters. Pelton is the director, assisted by dance lecturer Natalie King.
