Electrons: Everything is Dangerous Concert

Thursday, Jan. 31 the Georgia College Department of Music presents a recital called “Electrons” at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. Faculty member and tuba player Bill Pritchard will direct a trio of clarinet players called “Everything is Dangerous” that includes himself and guest artists Tim Crump and Victor Pons. Pritchard also plays tuba, Crump the saxophone and Victor Pons drums. Music will be amplified with “effect pedals” and the drum microphone will trigger programed videos. The music style is free improvisation that includes contemporary classical, jazz, electronics and heavy metal. A $10 donation is encouraged. All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GC Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc. For more information, please email music@gcsu.edu or call 478-445-8289.
