Jan 20 2019 - 10:00pm to Jan 21 2019 - 1:00am
Location:
Front Campus

Join us on the Georgia College Front Campus for the total lunar eclipse. The total lunar eclipse of Jan. 20-21 will begin its easily visible partial phase at 10:33 p.m. on the night of Jan. 20 and will be completely in the darkest part of the Earth's shadow (totality) at 11:41 p.m. The totality will end at 12:43 a.m. and the partial phase will end at 1:50 a.m. We will have telescopes and binoculars available to view the event in more detail, and you will be able to enjoy the sight with your own eyes with experts nearby. The equipment will be set up from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. dependent upon the weather conditions.
