Oct 29 2019 - 7:30pm
Max Noah Recital Hall

Tuesday, Oct. 29 “Wet Ink,” a contemporary concert with new music composed by faculty and students, will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. American Composer Steven Bryant will attend the concert and hold a workshop with composers afterwards. Students were given a short time period to compose a musical piece, find performers and rehearse in time for this concert. Director of Bands Dr. Clifford Towner is co-producing, along with faculty member Doug Bassett. There will be compositions by Bassett and Associate Professor of Music Dr. David H. Johnson, as well. A mixed group of faculty and students will perform compositions, which include a variety of moods and styles. "The audience is in for a nice journey," Bassett said. For more information, please email or call 478-445-8289.
