The Writing Center supports writers throughout their Georgia College academic experience by working with them at any stage of the writing process. Graduate and undergraduate tutors (also known as writing consultants) help each GC student cultivate their confidence and abilities as an academic writer. Due to COVID-19, the Writing Center will be available for online tutoring, but not walk-in communication; we look forward to helping students safely with the same level of care and attention.

1. Please include an updated Writing Center description of services in your syllabus.
2. Refer to the website for the latest information about scheduling and hours. The Writing Center opens on Monday, January 25th. Spring Semester hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9AM-7PM, Fri. 9AM-2PM, and Sat.-Sun. 2PM-4PM.
3. Students can reach the center via email at writing.center@gcsu.edu or schedule an appointment by visiting Unify and selecting "Scheduling with the Writing Center."
