Big Changes at Mail Services

When you return to campus later this month, you’ll notice some big changes to Mail Services. 

  • Mail Services has moved to Sanford Hall
  • Packages will now be available in lockers that you can access 24/7
  • When you receive a package, you’ll be notified via email that includes a bar code; that bar code will open a specific locker containing your package
  • Your mailing address will change to:

     Your Name
     Georgia College Box #
     410 W. Greene St.
     Milledgeville, GA 31061

  • Flat mail (letters, postcards, magazines, etc.) can be picked up at the service counter in Sanford Hall from our staff.


This change is going to allow for package pickup 24/7 to meet your busy schedule.

  • Packages are received at Mail Services and then sorts the parcels into individual lockers; you may receive a notification from the carrier that your package has arrived, however your package will not be ready for you until you receive the email notification from Mail Services.
  • Check out this video to see how package pickup works.
  • Packages requiring refrigeration or weighing more than 50lbs must be picked up from the Mail Services staff during business hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
