Vivian Cassaniti, ’23, is Georgia College & State University’s 2024 Academic Recognition Day representative. She was recognized at a luncheon by University System of Georgia Chancellor Sonny Perdue April 10 in Atlanta. The Eta Sigma Alpha, the Honors student association at Georgia College & State University, is raising money to help the fishing village of Kalametiya, Sri Lanka to control the number stray dogs in the community. These dogs were originally abandoned in the village by neighboring towns in hopes that the villagers would feed them scraps of seafood.
