Bake Sale for Camp HOPE

Eat sweets and support kids. We are hosting a bake sale to support 2024 Camp HOPE of Central Georgia. Camp HOPE is a week-long summer camp for children who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual abuse and child abuse. Bake sale items include chicken biscuits, cookies, coffee and scones.

A total solar eclipse will happen in parts of the U.S. Monday, April 8 2024. While the total eclipse can be viewed on a path from Texas to Maine, the view from the Georgia College & State University campus will be a partial solar eclipse from 1:47 p.m. to 4:21 p.m. EDT. Maximum sun coverage by the new moon will occur at 3:05 p.m. The face of the sun will be 81% obscured by the moon at that time. Safe viewing of the eclipse will be possible with eclipse glasses or telescopes designed...

Happy Valentine's Day! Join Academic Outreach at the Fountain Feb. 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to play with water through our Georgia College & State University Thirst for Knowledge Program. We will have: * Stream table:  Learn more about how a stream moves and how sediments travel. * Water color poppies: Make your own colorful poppy using the capillary action of water. * H2Olymics: How many drops of water can you get on a penny? Can you make a coin float on water?  Please join us.
