Senior David Watson, with the aid of Associate Director of the Outdoor Center Liz Speelman, facilitated a group of outdoor leadership majors from Young Harris College for four days.
The first art exhibition held in the newly renovated and reopened Ennis Hall, titled “1937 to 2014,” brings together generations of Georgia College alumni artists.
Today, the husband and wife duo have found success in and near Music City. Heather, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education, recently won Teacher of the Year for the 2013-2014 school year at Heritage Elementary School in Williamson County. Justin, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, has also had success in the form of co-writing a song that hit the top of the country charts.
For some alumni, the relationships and sense of community they gain at Georgia College never fully leave them. That’s definitely the case with alumna Laura Willis.
At the exhibition, graduate students Rebecca Milby will present a field guide of her great-grandfather developed into a handmade book she created during the course.
After serving as an intern on the Netflix original television series "House of Cards," senior Madison Junod took over the lead casting position.
