Stacey Milner's mission is to provide “a sense of belonging” for everyone and be a good example for other people's kids—showing them what it means to value someone else.
Every October on Front Campus, colorful and thought-provoking T-shirts are clothes-pinned to roped lines, flapping in the wind—airing the dirty laundry of violence against women. This year, the vibrant menagerie commemorates 15 years of a women’s program at Georgia College.
Students provided charity work at more than 40 different locations for various civic organizations, nonprofits, schools, churches and nursing homes. The donated labor had an estimated economic impact of $111,000.
Dr. Shawn Eric Brooks has been selected as Georgia College’s incoming vice president for student affairs. Brooks will join Georgia College May 1, 2018. He will assume his new role as vice president for student affairs at Georgia College after the retirement of our current Vice President Dr. Bruce Harshbarger on June 30, 2018.
