NON-PROFIT PANEL AND OPEN DISCUSSION Join the Criminal Justice program as we host organizations including Southern Center for Human Rights, The Brighthouse, Athens Area Homeless Shelter, and others. They will be answering questions about their work in the local community and surrounding areas. Join us to learn how their work impacts you and your local community and how you can impact them.

HOW TO GET INTO LAW SCHOOL AND WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE FIRST YEAR Join Professor Lamparello as he explains the in’s and out’s of preparing for your first year of law school, as well as advice on the application process.

 

THURSDAY, APRIL 21 • 1-4 P.M. MUSEUM EDUCATION ROOM LOCATED IN THE LIBRARY

RE-ENTRY SIMULATION AND DIALOGUE Hosted by Dr. Liles in conjunction with the Offender Alumni Association and Dr. Stacy Moak from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. The simulation was developed by the Department of Justice to simulate struggles and challenges faced by individuals who are transitioning from incarceration back into society. Afterwards, there will be time to discuss complexities of the process
