Breakout sessions, led by our Faculty and Staff Diversity Peer Educators and invited presenters, will immediately follow our opening session. The sessions will be held from 10:30 am - 12:15 pm and will include the following topics such as: “Developing an Inclusive Syllabus,” “Creating a Fully LGBTQ+ Inclusive Community Through Shared Understanding,”  “Facilitating Difficult Conversations,” “Navigating Impact: Tools for Taking Accountability When We Cause Harm,” “What You Should Know About EEO,” and “Creating a Community of Care: Utilizing a Trauma-Informed Approach in Teaching and Practice.”

Following our breakout sessions, participants will engage in community conversations focused on lessons learned, resources, and action steps for moving forward during lunch.
