Faculty Recital: "Romance"  - Andrew Allen, saxophone

Thursday, Sept. 29 Georgia College & State University’s faculty recital, “Romance,” will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall, featuring saxophonist Andrew J. Allen and pianist Lev Ryabinin. The recital will showcase classical works for the saxophone from impressionist to modern. Two pieces of standard French saxophone repertoire will be performed from Rene Corniot and Fernande Decruck, as well as 20th- and 21st-Century American works by William Grant Still, Dorothy Chang and Greg Simon.
