The 6th Annual William Harvey Address: "How Big City Medicine Came to the Country--and Why?"

Georgia College & State University presents the 6th Annual William Harvey Address, an endowed lecture series on medicine and society at 7 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall in Porter Hall. Dr. Robert Cowles III—urologist and president of the Cowles Clinic Center for urology at Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia—will speak on "How Big City Medicine Came to the Country--and Why." Cowles taught surgery in 29 countries and was named Prostate Educator of the Year by the American Foundation for Urological Disease. The William Harvey Address is a public service of the department of biological and environmental sciences, associated with the pre-med mentoring program for select groups of outstanding premedical biology majors.
