Ethics Awareness Week Kick-Off Events Begin Monday, November 7

The University System of Georgia (USG) is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards of conduct in pursuit of its mission to create knowledge. Accomplishing this mission demands integrity, good judgment, and dedication to public service from all members of the USG community. Annually, the USG highlights this commitment through an Ethics Awareness Week which is scheduled this year for November 7–13, 2022. The purpose of this week is to remind employees of our commitment to an ethical culture and our shared ethical values and expectations.   

Ethics Awareness Week will kick off on Monday, November 7, 2022, and the activities for the day will focus on Georgia College’s value, the pursuit of knowledge and truth for the public good. 

Events: 

*Did You Know? Resource Tabling 

8:30am – 10:30am 

A&S Fountain (In the event of rain, this will be moved to The Den) 

*Pizza with the President 

6:00-7:30pm 

Peabody Auditorium 

*For each in-person event attended, you will have the opportunity to enter your name in a drawing for a chance to win one of 3-$50 Cat Cash prizes. The drawing will take place on Friday, November 11 at 10:30am. 

Daily Ethics Tip:  

USG policy prohibits retaliation against those who report wrongdoing or assist with authorized investigations.
