You are invited on a Study Tour to Chile!

Angie Woodham, Director of Continuing and Professional Education, with Angela Criscoe, Executive Director for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, collaborated with WorldStrides to create a program for alumni that would develop their global expertise; immerse participants in business, communication, art and culture while providing an opportunity to get out of the office and explore!

A seven-day Study Tour adventure begins on June 3, 2023, as participants travel to Santiago, Chile for a welcome reception. Exploration will include the picturesque port of Valparaiso, Vina del Mar, Wulff Castle, Emiliana Organic Vineyards, and the Jardin Botanico Nacional. There will also be business tours and learning sessions about business and communication practices from corporate and media executives in Chile.

Visit our website for more information and details about our upcoming information session on December 15.

"International study tours, like our trip to Chile, afford participants incredible learning opportunities, both intellectually and personally," Woodham said. "A schedule with a blend of business visits and tour guide led excursions allows individuals to learn about business and communications in Chile, but also experience the beauty and history of a culturally rich country in a small group setting. I hope you’ll join us on our inaugural study tour!”

The Study Tour will include plenty of free time for personal exploration, discussions over dessert, lunch-and-learn gatherings, and a farewell dinner.

The cost varies on single or double occupancy, as well as options for additional travel insurance. However, you can reserve your spot for $500. Space is limited to ensure an intimate and personable experience for all participants.

We hope to see you in Santiago, Chile in 2023!
