Guest Artist and Faculty Recital:  Steven Taylor, cello

Tuesday, Jan. 17 Guest artist and cellist Steven Taylor—along with Georgia College & State University faculty members Hue Jang, pianist, and David H. Johnson, composer and violinist—will give a guest and faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Hall. Compositions include Robert Schumann’s “Five Pieces in Folk Style, Op. 102 for cello and piano,” David H. Johnson’s original “5 Melodies for cello and piano” and Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Trio No. 2 in E minor, Op. 67 for violin, cello and piano.” This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment.
