What is Intersectionality?

What is Intersectionality?

The Georgia College Women’s Center in collaboration with the GC2Y “Sex and Resistance” class will host a discussion about intersectionality, feminism, and anti-racism on October 1 at 6:00 on Zoom. The link to register for the Zoom is  https://gcsu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJIuf-mgqDgqG9ECSp9bCxznFR4DTUnGRcQr. We will feature a TED-Talk by Kimberlé Crenshaw followed by a discussion of how intersectionality relates to feminism and anti-racism. Feel free to come with questions or form them as we discuss. The goal of this event is to open up meaningful conversations that give GC community members a new perspective on important topics. We want to provide a space where you can share your thoughts and talk with other GC students about them. You can learn more about feminism and anti-racism at the following website created by the GC2Y students organizing this event: https://brettbennett9.wixsite.com/sec2fem-anti-racism
