Additional Hours for the Community Drumming Group

Additional Hours for the Community Drumming Group

Welcome back to a new semester! We hope everyone is happy and healthy, and ready to get back to drumming!

The Community Drumming Group will resume sessions starting January 27th at 6:30-7:15pm.

The Community Drumming Group will be reinstating the Wednesday sessions at 6:30 in addition to the regular Friday sessions at 2:00pm. Sessions will be held in the Health Sciences Building, Rm. 103, unless weather permits the group move outside to the Porter Tent. We will also be continuing streaming our sessions on YouTubeLive! for those who are unable or do not feel comfortable coming to sessions in-person.

For those who need documented clinical hours from the CDG for online viewing of the sessions, you must send us a summary of the session by MIDNIGHT the DAY OF THE SESSION.

Session availability will be increased to 12 MEMBERS in our usual meeting room, and we ask that participants who plan on coming to sessions email us to let us know. However, the group is open to everyone who wants to come, and if there are more members than the room will allow,  the session will be moved ouside (should the weather allow), or split into two groups in order to maintain social distancing.

Before entering the room, remember to be wearing a mask, sign in, and get your temperature checked.

We ask that you also sanitize your instruments before and after the session for the health and safety of everyone who uses the drums.

Keep drumming, and we hope to see you all soon!
