Introducing The Black Belt Region: Developing A Hidden Gem
The Rural Studies Institute (RSI) at Georgia College is kicking off our spring semester’s virtual events with a focus on rural America and its regions. Our first discussion will concentrate on the rural Southern region of the Black Belt. This exciting virtual event will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Adhering to our goal of university-community partnerships, this collaborative dialogue will include the Black Belt Community Foundation, the WK. Kellogg Foundation, the Washington University Center for Social Development and the GC Ina Dillard Russell Library.
