Spring 2021 Graduate Research Grants - Deadline Extended

Spring 2021 Graduate Research Grants - Deadline Extended

The application deadline for the spring 2021 cycle of the Graduate Research Grants program has been extended to March 5, 2021. Georgia College graduate students are encouraged to apply for funding to support registration costs associated with the presentation of their own original scholarship at professional virtual academic conferences.

Graduate Research Grants will be made in the following category:

Category 1: Grants will be awarded that support student presentations of original scholarship or research conducted with a faculty mentor at professional virtual academic conferences (international, national, regional and state level) in the student’s discipline. Grants will also cover costs of research in the student’s discipline. There is a maximum of $400 per grant for virtual conference fees. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Students who received awards for spring 2020 and could not travel due to COVID 19, are eligible to re-apply.

Students seeking funds to support attendance at virtual academic conferences in their field of study should apply through the SGA student travel fund.
