GC Criminal Justice spotlighted as a top-50 master’s program

Georgia College’s Criminal Justice master’s program was one of only two state universities to make Intelligent.com’s list of the “Top 50 Master’s in Criminal Justice Degree Programs for 2021.”

Intelligent.com recently announced its choices for the country’s top master’s program in criminal justice with Georgia College and Mercer University from Georgia.

The top 50 schools were chosen based an assessment of 208 accredited colleges and universities in United States. According to Intelligent.com’s website: Each program was evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation and post-graduate employment. The 2021 rankings were calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third-party evaluations.

Students who pursue a top-50 criminal justice masters “can expect to gain employment much quicker in comparison to candidates without a degree,” the site stated. “In addition to accessibility and cost, the steady job growth in this market is one of the many reasons Intelligent.com researched and ranked the Top Master's in Criminal Justice Degree Programs.”
