Announcement on behalf of President Cox

This morning, Georgia College & State University Public Safety responded to a wellness check request of a student in an on-campus residence hall. Upon arrival, the student was found unresponsive. Out of respect for the family and the on-going investigation, these are the only details that can be released at this time.  

Police Chief Wes Hardin advised that there is no threat to our campus community, and more information will be released when it becomes available.
