Continuing & Professional Education - Summer Camps Cancelled

After much thought and deliberation, Georgia College Department of Continuing and Professional Education has cancelled 2020 summer camps and swimming lessons due to COVID-19. We will miss seeing all of you this summer and look forward to welcoming you back to a fun-filled summer of camp next year. Everyone currently registered will receive a full refund. Thank you for you understanding and support.

Kids' University Day Camp
Athletics Camps
Theatre Camp
Creature Camp
Swimming Lessons

The Academic Advising Center is Here for You

Beginning Tuesday, May 12th, Academic Advisors will host live sessions on WebEx on Tuesdays from 10 AM-11 AM and on Wednesdays from 3 PM-4 PM. During these sessions you will have an opportunity to talk with advisors about course options, POUNCE questions, registration needs, or ask any questions you may have.

We encourage you to join us and we look forward to continuing to serve you virtually.

The GeorgiaVIEW grade book is a versatile, and flexible grade book system that faculty can customize to fit their needs. Whether a points-based grading system or a weighted grading system is used, this grade book should fit the need.  Students love having the grade book online so they have constant access. Barb Szyjko will provide an overview of the grade book general settings, how to set up a points system, and how to set up a weighted system. Registrants will be sent the link to attend the webinar.

• Review the importance of a planned pregnancy
• Discuss how to optimize chronic medical problems before pregnancy
• Discuss healthy behaviors, weight gain, and exercise, and follow up during pregnancy
• Review the importance of healthy routine during the post-partum period
• A brief discussion regarding mental health prior, during, and after pregnancy
