READ MORE Center for Teaching and Learning Launches Awards DatabaseGeorgia College strives to create a faculty-focused culture where faculty are supported, rewarded, and recognized in their efforts to seek out, apply for, and receive prestigious grants, awards, and fellowships. To aid faculty and staff in their efforts to locate award opportunities, professors Dana Gorzelany-Mostak and Steve Elliott-Gower created the GC Awards database. This database features comprehensive information on awards related to the disciplines practiced at Georgia College, with a specific focus on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Faculty can search for awards through the GC Awards Database, and seek advice and assistance on the application process through the Center for Teaching and Learning website.
READ MORE Summer Science CampsGC Academic Outreach and the GC Science Education Center are excited to announce Science Camp for students entering grades 3-9. We welcome children of all backgrounds interested in science.
Science Camp is an all-science academic summer experience featuring hands-on and outdoor activities presented by your camp counselors, faculty, staff, area scientists, and local community members. Each week campers will investigate the science of space explorations by studying biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, astronomy and the environment.
COVID protocol will be in place including a limit of 10 campers per session. Campers must bring lunch daily. Snacks and water will be provided.

Please remember to bring your vaccination record card, complete this form again and print it to bring with you to your appointment. The clinic will be held at the Wellness Center on West Campus, at the same location as the first clinic.

The Georgia College Women's Soccer team will host an ID Camp Sunday, May 2 for any female high-school athletes who are interested in showcasing their skills and playing soccer at the next level.
The Bobcat ID Camp is open to all prospective student-athletes, giving them an important opportunity to gain next-level recognition for their talents and skills. While being able to meet and train with coaches in person, the opportunity also allows these athletes to make connections with coaches and players at Georgia College.
The camp will cost $125 for a 9 a.m.-4 p.m. session, which will consist of individual skill challenges, as well as live-game simulations. Also included in this cost are a campus tour and lunch.
