The campus community is invited to attend a presentation and open forum with the 1st finalist for the position of Director of Grants and Sponsored Projects on Friday, June 10th, from 3-3:45 p.m. in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room.  The finalist will speak for approximately 20 minutes  on the topic of “building capacity for grants and sponsored projects and creating a culture of compliance at a public liberal arts institution.”  Following the presentation, the candidate will respond to questions from the university community.  Those who can't attend in person may access the presentation via WebEx at https://gcsu.webex.com/gcsu/j.php?MTID=m7f29f6896fecf0f9c857158377b8fb9e.  The finalist's résumé and cover letter are attached.

Join us for a session on using technology tools to enhance student engagement. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to some of our favorite technology tools that can be used in the academic environment.  Incorporating selective technological applications allows for students to engage in problem-solving activities, and discussions, and promotes higher-order thinking. Participants will learn about Powtoon, Canva, and BookCreator, and how both faculty and students can use these tools to promote learning.  

This workshop will be hosted virtually on June 15 at 2 p.m. Registrants will be sent the link to attend on the morning of the workshop.
