Reporting Options for the University Community
Georgia College recognizes that an ethical and effective work environment is essential to our continued success. We place a high priority on assuring that every member of our university community has the opportunity to convey any matter that could compromise said work environment.
We encourage everyone within the university community to report any suspected unethical behavior and/or suspected policy violation(s). These suspected violations may relate to Title IX/sexual misconduct, student conduct, employee relations, ethics & compliance, fraud, waste and/or abuse, among other concerns.
Georgia College prohibits any employee, student, or volunteer from retaliating or taking any adverse action against another employee, student, or volunteer for reporting a reasonable suspicion of sexual or physical abuse or neglect of a minor.

Covid-19 Decision Path for Employees
As we continue venturing out for the last bit of summer fun and begin preparing for the beginning of Fall 2022, we wanted to take an opportunity to remind you of the existing COVID-19 Decision Path for Employees in an effort to keep our campus community as safe as possible!
If an employee:
- Is not feeling well with COVID-19 (C19) symptoms OR recently tested positive for C19
- Has been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for C19
- Believes they have had indirect contact with someone who recently tested positive for C19
The employee should contact their immediate supervisor and then the supervisor should contact
employeerelations@gcsu.edu and provide:
- The employee’s name
- The employee’s direct contact information (usually a cell phone number)
- Whether or not the employee is eligible to work-from-home (WFH) if we have to ask them to stay away from campus for a few days following guidelines set by the Georgia Department of Public Health (GaDPH)
