READ MORE Covid-19 Decision Path for EmployeesAs we return to campus for Fall 2022, please be mindful of the existing COVID-19 Decision Path for Employees in an effort to keep our campus community as safe as possible!
If an employee:
- Is not feeling well with COVID-19 (C19) symptoms OR recently tested positive for C19
- Has been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive for C19
- Believes they have had indirect contact with someone who recently tested positive for C19
The employee should contact their immediate supervisor and then the supervisor should contact employeerelations@gcsu.edu and provide: - The employee’s name
- If the employee is positive, symptomatic, exposed, or possibly exposed
- The employee’s direct contact information (usually a cell phone number)
- Whether or not the employee is eligible to work-from-home (WFH) if we have to ask them to stay away from campus for a few days following guidelines set by the GaDPH
READ MORE CPR Courses on campusGC Wellness is offering four CPR sessions on campus, facilitated by Steven Wright from the Wellness and Recreation Center. During the session, participants will learn how to administer Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to someone in need, including chest compressions, mouth-to-mouth breathing, and the difference between compression-only and hands-only CPR.

Times Talk is celebrating its 17th year as a GC campus tradition and a nationally innovative civic engagement program by providing a discussion space in the GC library as well as virtually via Zoom for interested faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members to gather from noon-12:50 pm every Wednesday and discuss a chosen topic of that week's volunteer facilitator who spends a few minutes providing perspective and insights on the topic, uses a New York Times article or other credible news source for factual background/context, and encourages participants to share their perspectives, observations, insights, and questions. ...
