The Academic Advising Center is Here to Help You!

The Academic Advising Center is open!  Professional Academic Advisors are available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm by e-mail or phone. Advisors are providing assistance and support to our students via scheduled remote advising sessions. Advisors will be happy to address your questions and concerns about registration, waiting lists, major exploration, and so forth.  You may “Schedule an Appointment” with an Academic Advisor via that link in Unify. The center is offering “drop-in” hours as well in the AAC’s WebEx Chat Room at gcsu.webex.com/meet/gcsu.advising. Student Rating of Instruction Survey (SRIS): May Term 2020

Your feedback matters!

We value your feedback and invite you to complete your May Term 2020 course evaluations. The survey period opens today and will close June 3. Every survey is confidential and your thoughtful responses regarding the instructional aspects of the course provide faculty with insights about course effectiveness and give insight into future improvements for the course and programs.

Your instructor may set aside time during your studies to complete the surveys. Any device with a wireless Internet connection (smartphone, iPad, tablet, laptop, etc.) can access the survey by using the instructions listed below. REMINDER: QPR Training

The Zero Suicide Team hopes to have every person on campus trained in QPR. Why, because we can all save lives. The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. The signs of crisis are all around us. We believe that quality education empowers all people, regardless of their background, to make a positive difference in the life of someone they know. Please take some time out of your schedule to attend this 90 minute training through Webex.

Initial training dates are

June 1st at 9:30am

June 3 at 10am

 June 3rd at 1:30pm

June 4 at 2pm

June 8th at 9:30am

June 10 at 10am

June 10th at 1:30pm

June 11 at 2pm

 *each training is capped at 20 people.
