Kognito is available for Freshman to log-in

Kognito has had the technical difficulties worked out and is now available for Freshman to be able to complete.  Students can log in to their Unify accounts and select Kognito from the middle of the screen. Please let rachel.pope@gcsu.edu know if you still can not access the program. This program is due 8/26 for all incoming Freshman.

Reporting Sexual Misconduct and Title IX Concerns 

Bobcats, as we begin to settle into a new academic year, we want to remind faculty, staff, students, contractors, vendors, visitors, and guests of our responsibility to participate in creating an environment that promotes equity, safety, and inclusion. Title IX and the University System of Georgia (USG) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any of its education programs or activities or in employment.

Per the USG Board of Regents and Georgia College policy, any report of sexual misconduct to a Responsible Employee must be reported to the Title IX Coordinator as soon as possible. Furthermore, students, faculty, staff, and community members who are NOT designated as Responsible Employees, are still encouraged to report instances of sexual misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator.  The Sexual Misconduct ...

News You Can Use: GDOT to detour portions of 441 Bypass next week

The Georgia Department of Transportation will detour a portion of the 441 Bypass in Milledgeville next week.

GDOT is detouring traffic to allow Norfolk Southern to conduct maintenance operations on the railroad crossing at Camp Creek on the 441 Bypass. The closure will take place all day, Tuesday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 24. The repair work will effectively prohibit travel between Allen Memorial Drive and Irwinton Road/Gordon Highway on the 441 Bypass during those days.

Norfolk Southern expects to complete repair operations before 8 a.m., Thursday, August 25.

GDOT recommends motorists plan their detour route now to avoid delays on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Drivers may use the following official signed detour route:

  • US 441 BU (Irwinton Road) beginning at Gordon Highway
  • W. Franklin Street
  • S. Clarke Street
  • State Route 49 (Hancock Street)

Proclamation Signing for Women's Equality Day

You are welcome to attend and show support for the City of Milledgeville's Proclamation Signing recognizing August 26th as Women's Equality Day and celebrating the certification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution. Event will take place during the regularly-scheduled City Council meeting 8/23/2022 at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall, 119 E. Hancock Street, Milledgeville, GA.
